Notice: Function amp_is_available was called incorrectly. `amp_is_available()` (or `amp_is_request()`, formerly `is_amp_endpoint()`) was called too early and so it will not work properly. WordPress is currently doing the `init` hook. Calling this function before the `wp` action means it will not have access to `WP_Query` and the queried object to determine if it is an AMP response, thus neither the `amp_skip_post()` filter nor the AMP enabled toggle will be considered. It appears the plugin with slug `jetpack` is responsible; please contact the author. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Second Japanese Airline Adds Free Wi-Fi

According to a post at Wandering Aramean, ANA (All Nippon Airways) will be adding free wi-fi to its aircraft used for domestic Japan flights. The provider is Panasonic.

Japan Airlines already provides free wi-fi for domestic service. Their provider is Gogo.

ANA will also add USB power ports an embedded entertainment screens on many of its new and existing aircraft. This is in contrast to some American carriers, who are deleting screens (and reducing costs and weight) based upon the assumption that passengers will bring their own devices onboard.

How to Keep Points from Expiring

In general, you need some sort of activity in your account to protect your miles and points. In a few cases, such as All Nippon Airways, your miles do expire and there is nothing you can do to prevent it…use them or lose them.

More Super-Cheap Airfares to Japan — Fare War

The big 3 U.S. majors – American, Delta and United – and others – ANA, Air China – continue to offer very low fares to Japan…as low as $435 round-trip.

Delta / United / American – Starting $436: United States – Tokyo, Japan. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

In the current round of fare cuts, Delta started and then was matched by United and American. A couple of dozen U.S. cities are included in the fare war.

If you have ever wanted to visit Japan, this is a very inexpensive time to do so. And you will receive some frequent-flyer miles (varies with the airline).
