According to a post at Wandering Aramean, ANA (All Nippon Airways) will be adding free wi-fi to its aircraft used for domestic Japan flights. The provider is Panasonic.

Japan Airlines already provides free wi-fi for domestic service. Their provider is Gogo.

ANA will also add USB power ports an embedded entertainment screens on many of its new and existing aircraft. This is in contrast to some American carriers, who are deleting screens (and reducing costs and weight) based upon the assumption that passengers will bring their own devices onboard.

Many, or most, airlines and hotel chains advertise that their miles / points ‘never expire,’ but that is only half-true. They may not expire, but they can permanently disappear from your account if you are not careful. This blog post tells what you can do.

In general, you need some sort of activity in your account to protect your miles and points. In a few cases, such as All Nippon Airways, your miles do expire and there is nothing you can do to prevent it…use them or lose them.
