Scott’s Cheap Flights has found another bargain, a very inexpensive airfare to Kenya. You can drive, Megabus or fly from Austin to Dallas, then fly Air Canada, Delta, Kenya Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Swiss, United to Nairobi (via Europe).
Airfares are valid next month and May, then September through December.

Aer Lingus, Delta, Air France, Lufthansa, Air Canada, and United are offering some low airfares from DFW (and other American cities) to Dublin, Ireland. A variety of date pairs (with varying airfares) have been found from March to June, and August through December.

Scott’s Cheap Flights has found Fall 2018 fares of $525 from DFW to Prague. The dates found are September through December, excluding holidays.
Search Google Flights for these fares on United Airlines, Air Canada, Swiss, Lufthansa and Eurowings.

Thrifty Traveler, then All the Flight Deals, noticed some very low airfares on American / Air Canada from San Antonio to Washington DC. San Antonio’s airport is on the north side of the city, which is located 80 miles south of Austin.
Various dates in February through June.
These airfares include free carry-on and advance seat assignment, not the unpleasant Basic Economy.
The airfare deals from the US to Europe just keep coming! Scott’s Cheap Flights has found round-trip tickets from Austin to Venice for as little as $386 in March, April, May, August, September, October, November and December.
These are round-trip fares, not one-way. No bag fees. Check United Airlines website and Google Flights. Other airlines may match, and there are other European destinations with similar fares.
Watch out — those gondola rides in Venice are EXPENSIVE!
Search Google Flights for the deets on these round-trip fares from some U.S. cities to Brussels, Belgium. The airlines are United, Air Canada (Denver) and TUI fly (Miami).
“TUI fly Deutschland” is a German “leisure airline” that flies to 71 destinations.
Brussels is an interesting destination in itself, the home of the famous Manneken Pis statue. Brussels can also serve as the jumping off point for train or plane travel to other European nations.

Air Canada is offering service from Chicago (ORD) to Paris this summer for only $394 round-trip.
You can fly from Austin to Chicago non-stop on American Airlines or Southwest. Note: Southwest flies to Midway Airport in Chicago, from there you can get to O’Hare by various means.

Scotts Cheap Flights has found some round-trip airfares from Houston to Europe in the $400 range. Travel up through May 2018, with some also in August 2018. Mostly Delta, some Air France and Air Canada.
European destinations from Houston include Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva and Munich. Of course, you can take a European UCC (Ultra low-cost carrier, like Ryanair or Easy Jet) from any of those cities to wherever you want to go in Europe.
Other departure cities are also available, including Chicago (take Southwest or American non-stop from Austin to Chicago), Denver, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.
If Austin’s winter weather is a bit too warm for you, you may want to jump on this deal. These low fares are available for certain dates in January and February.
Flights out of Austin have one stop; some flights out of San Antonio are non-stop to Toronto.
