Delta Airline Does Another Secret Devaluation for Business Class

Delta has quietly, without notice, increased the number of SkyMiles (also known as SkyPesos) required for Business Class travel between the United States and Israel / Middle East by 15,000 each way. The change is effective immediately, for travel November 1 or later.

The affected destinations are: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Yemen.

Surprisingly, the number of SkyMiles needed for Coach travel has actually decreased by 5000.

Delta has a history of devaluations and is believed by many to be one of the most hostile toward its frequent flyers.
